Description
A timesheet book is how hours get recorded where there’s no clocking-in system — on site, in a van, out on a round. Written down at the time and signed, it’s the record that settles what gets paid to the worker and what gets billed to the client, and it removes the argument that starts when hours are reconstructed from memory a fortnight later.
We print three different timesheet layouts, so you can pick the one that matches how you actually work. The individual weekly timesheet records start time, break, finish time, hours worked and travel for one person day by day, with space for additional materials and costs, a client signature and an invoice number. The weekly time sheet is a landscape grid for a whole crew — names down the side, Saturday to Friday across the top, with job number, shift and extras columns. The time and quality acceptance sheet is built for engineers and contractors: customer and order details, time on site and time off site for each day, a description of work carried out, and a customer signature confirming the work was completed satisfactorily.
All three are printed in full colour on A4 or A5 NCR paper, 50 duplicate sets per book, with your logo and contact details on every set — the top copy for the office, the yellow copy for the worker or client.
Free design service
We offer a free design service based on our templates (logo design not included), or we can print your own ready-to-print artwork at no extra cost. Our pads are perforated and stapled at the top for a professional finish, but we can glue them instead if you prefer — just let us know. See our full range of NCR forms.
Free sequential numbering
Numbering can be included free of charge. Just tell us how you need them numbered and we’ll set it up.
How to prevent copy bleed-through
A white 400gsm board is included with each pad to place between sets, preventing anything copying onto the next set.

Timesheet book FAQs
Which timesheet layout should I choose?
If one person records their own hours and you bill the client from them, take the individual weekly timesheet — it has travel and materials columns and a client signature line. If you’re recording a whole crew’s hours for payroll, take the landscape weekly time sheet. If your people attend sites and need the customer to confirm the work was done, take the time and quality acceptance sheet. Tell us which when you order.
How long do I need to keep timesheet records?
PAYE records, including the wages sheets and records behind them, must be kept for at least three years after the end of the tax year they relate to. If you employ anyone at or near the National Minimum Wage, the records proving you paid it must be kept for six years — that went up from three in April 2021. Keeping the top copy bound in the book, in date order, satisfies both.
Why use a duplicate timesheet rather than a single sheet?
Because two people need the same record. The worker or the client keeps one copy and you keep the matching one, so neither side can produce a different version later. On signed acceptance sheets that matters most — the customer’s copy is their receipt for the visit, and yours is what backs up the invoice.
Can you print our own timesheet layout?
Yes. If you have a form that already works, send us the artwork and we’ll print it at no extra cost. If you want changes to one of our three templates — extra columns, different day order, your own terms at the bottom — our free design service covers that too, and we’ll email a digital proof before printing.
Contractors and site teams often order these alongside our personalised invoice books and quote and estimate books.
